Officially on the Ballot

I'm excited to share an important milestone in my campaign for Rohnert Park City Council, District 2. I am officially qualified to appear on the ballot this November.

The journey to this point has been both exciting and humbling. On Monday, July 13, I picked up my candidate paperwork from the City Clerk's Office and immediately got to work completing the required documents and collecting nomination signatures from members of our community. I was grateful for the encouragement and support of so many neighbors who were willing to sign my nomination papers and help make this campaign possible.

On Monday, July 20, I met with the City Clerk again to submit my paperwork. After everything was carefully reviewed, verified, and validated, I took the Oath of Office, swearing to uphold the Constitution and faithfully fulfill the responsibilities of public office. With that final step complete, I officially qualified to appear on the November ballot.

While these are procedural milestones, they carry significant meaning. Taking the oath was a reminder that public service is built on integrity, accountability, and a commitment to serve the entire community. It reinforced why I decided to run in the first place: to provide leadership that is visible, responsive, and accountable.

Throughout my career as a healthcare leader and in my work as a Realtor, I've had the opportunity to solve complex problems, build consensus among diverse stakeholders, and make thoughtful decisions that improve outcomes. I look forward to bringing those same skills to the Rohnert Park City Council.

Now the real work begins.

Over the coming months, I'll continue walking neighborhoods, attending community events, meeting with residents, and listening to your ideas, concerns, and hopes for Rohnert Park's future. Every conversation matters, and I believe the best decisions come from listening first and working collaboratively to find practical solutions.
